Materials
Size G/4.25 mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn

The chain one at the beginning of each round is optional and does not have to be worked with the single crochet. Working the chain one will create additional bulk and a seam.

Sole - Make 4
Round 1: Work 7 Foundation Single Crochet or start with a chain of 8, work 1 SC in each chain across for a total of 7.  Work 4 Single crochet in the last stitch, work 1 SC in each of the next 5 stitches, work 4 SC in the last stitch, join with the beginning stitch. ( 20 single crochet total)

Round 2:  CH 1, Work 2 SC in the same stitch, work 1 SC in each of the next 5 stitches. Working the rounded section,  2SC in next, 1SC in next, 2SC in next, 1SC in next, 2SC in next, work 1 SC in each of the next 5 stitches. Working the rounded section, in each of the next 4 stitches work,  2SC in next, 1SC in next, 2SCin next , 1SC in next, join with the beginning stitch. 
( 26 single crochet total)

Round 3: Work 1 SC in the same stitch, 2 SC in the next. Work 1 SC in each of the next 5 stitches.  2SC in next, 1SC in next, 2SC in next, 1 in ea of the next 2, 2SC in next, 1 SC, 2SC,  Work 1 SC in each of the next 5 stitches, 2 SC, 1 SC, 2 SC, in ea of the next 2,  2SC in next,    join.  ( 34 single crochet total)

Round 4: Work 1 SC in each stitch around, join. ( 34 single crochet total)  Cut the yarn, pull through and secure.

Sandwich two of sole together and sew together.

Back Heel - Find the center back of the sandal,  count back 5 from the center, work 1 SC across 10, turn, work another row of 1 SC in each stitch.  There will be two rows of 10 single crochet.  Cut the yarn, pull through and secure.

Tie
Chain 60

Ankle Strap - Chain 7 join.
Round 1: Work 7 SC through the chain, do not join.  Work the continual round.  This is where you work the first stitch right through the top of the next stitch and continue crocheting.
Round 2-23: Work 1 SC in each stitch around.
If you are using the tie, you will pull it through at this time.
Slip stitch the back 4 stitches together, securing both sides.
Cut the yarn and secure.

The Ankle Strap will be sewn to the Back Heel section.

Front Toe Strap - Chain 6 join.
Round 1: Work 6SC through the chain, do not join.  Work the continual round.  This is where you work the first stitch right through the top of the next stitch and continue crocheting.
Round 2 - 11: Work 1 SC in each stitch around, SL ST to join.
Cut the yarn, pull through. Cut off an extra length for sewing.  

Count back 5 stitches from the front center of the sole and sew the strap on each side.  There will be 10 SC separating each side.

At the center, attach the  toe strap to the ankle strap attaching across 3-4 stitches.  Knot, secure and sew in the tail.

Knot, secure and sew in any remaining tails.

Skill Level - Intermediate

Abbreviations
SC - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
HDC - Half Double Crochet
CH - Chain
SL ST - Slip Stitch


Front Post Double Crochet - FPDC
Wrap the yarn over the hook, put the hook between the stitch, around to the back, to the front.
Wrap the yarn over, pull through to the fron, yarn over pull through two loops, yarn over pull through two loops.

Materials
Size G/4.25 mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn
Tapestry Needle


Gauge 4 inches = 16 stitches x 18 rows
This the gauge using a size G crochet hook, which will be different from the video.  The video is using a lager crochet hook.

Size - The dress size is for a 3-12 month baby, just by changing the size of your crochet hook.  If you want to make the dress even larger, increase the size of the starting chain with 3-5 extra stitches.  You will need to adjust the back sections as well.

Front Top

Chain 23
Row 1: Work 1 Single Crochet in each stitch across turn. (22 single crochet total)
Row 2-5: Work 1 SC in each stitch across, turn  (22 single crochet total)
Row 6: Work 1 SC, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in ea of next 18, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in next, turn (24 single crochet total)
Row 7: Work 1 SC in each stitch across, turn  (24 single crochet total)
Row 8: Work 1 SC, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in ea of next 20, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in next, turn (26 single crochet total)
Row 9: Work 1 SC in each stitch across, turn  (26 single crochet total)
Row 10: Work 1 SC, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in ea of next 22, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in next, turn (28 single crochet total)
Row 11: Work 1 SC in each stitch across, turn  (28 single crochet total)
Row 12: Work 1 SC, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in ea of next 24, 2 SC in next, 1 SC in next, turn (30 single crochet total)
Row 13: Work 1 SC in each stitch across, cut yarn and secure.  (30 single crochet total)


Top Back - Make 2
The increase will only be on one side.

Chain 12
Row 1: Work 1 SC in each chain across, turn. (11 Single Crochet Total)
Row 2-5: Work 1 SC in each single crochet across, turn.   (11 Single Crochet Total)
Row 6: Work 1 SC in ea of the next 9 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next, turn.   (12 Single Crochet Total)
Row 7: Work 1 SC in each single crochet across, turn.   (12 Single Crochet Total)
Row 8: Work 1 SC in ea of the next 10 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next, turn.   (13 Single Crochet Total)
Row 9: Work 1 SC in each single crochet across, turn.   (13 Single Crochet Total)
Row 10: Work 1 SC in ea of the next 11 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next, turn.   (14 Single Crochet Total)

Do not cut the last back, you will turn.  Now we will be working in rounds. Rounds is where the back is connected so we are working in one big circle.  The sections will be joined by the first single crochet on the underarm area.

Round 14:  Work 1 SC across Top Back in each of the 15 single crochet, Work 1 SC across Top Front in each of the 30 single crochet, 2nd Top Back work 1 SC in each of the 15 single crochet.  Join with the first stitch.  (60 single crochet total)
Round 15:  Chain 1, Work 1 SC in each stitch around. Join.   (60 single crochet total)

Round 16: Ch 1, this will not count as a stitch, only the step up on each round. Work a DC in the same stitch, skip a stitch, work a shell in the next stitch of 2DC, CH 1, 2DC all in the same stitch. *Skip a stitch, Work 1 DC in the next stitch, Skip a stitch, work 2DC, CH 1, 2DC all in the same stitch. Continue around from *.  Join with the first stitch when you get back around to the beginning. ( 15 shell, 15 Double Crochet)

Round 17- 30: Ch 1, this will not count as a stitch, only the step up on each round. *Work a FPDC around the DC(see description above). In the next chain 1 space work a shell(2DC, CH1, 2DC). Join with the beginning stitch. ( 15 shell, 15 Front Post Double Crochet)

You can continue with the length for a longer dress. Wrap the yarn over, pull through, cut the yarn, give it a tug to secure.

Strap - Make 2
On the right side, attach the yarn on the edge.  On the left side, you will attach the yarn, 6 stitches from the left.  

Row 1-17: Work 1 SC in each of the next 6 stitches, turn.  Upon completing, cut an extra length.  You will sew the stitches to the back side, matching the 6 stitches.

Button Loop - Chain 11, join.  Work 1 Slip Stitch in each chain around.  You will sew this to the left side.  The size can easily be modified for different size buttons.

Crochet Button
Chain 2, work 6 SC through the 2nd chain.
Round 2: Work 2 SC in each stitch around
Round 3: Work 1 SC in the back loop only. 
Cut a long length of yarn. Weave the yarn through the last round of stitches. Pull snug. Knot and secure.
Sew to the right upper side of the dress.

Materials
Size H/5mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn
Tapestry Needle
Buttons for Strap Closure

Work a chain of 9 if you prefer to use a chain instead. Work the pattern according to the instructions.

Sole and Sides
Round 1: Side 1- Make 8 foundation half double crochet. Work 4 Half Double Crochet in the same stitch. Side 2- Work 1 HDC in each of the next 6 stitches. Work 4 HDC in the last stitch. Join with the beginning stitch. (22 Half Double Crochet Total)

Round 2: Ch 1, pull up, this chain will not count as a stitch, only a step up to make the rest of the stitches. 2 HDC in the same ST. 1 HDC in ea of the next 6 St's. (Increase Section) (This next section has increase stitches to form the rounded shaping of the slipper) 2 HDC in the next ST, 1 HDC in the next St, 2 HDC in the next ST, 1 HDC in the next ST, 2 HDC in the next ST. 1 HDC in ea of the next 6 St's, (Increase Section) 2 HDC in the next ST, 1 HDC in the next ST, 2 HDC in the next ST, 1 HDC in the next St, join. (28Half Double Crochet Total)

Round 3-4: Ch 1, pull up, this chain will not count as a stitch, only a step up to make the rest of the stitches. Work 1 HDC in each HDC around. (28 HDC total)

Toe Top
Find the center of the slipper. Count back 6 stitches and attach the yarn. CH 2. There are going to be a lot of stitches on the hook for the top top. Wrap the yarn over the hook, insert through the next stitch, leave the loops on the hook. Do this 11 times total. When all the loops have been completed, wrap the yarn over the hook and pull through all the loops being careful not to drop loops off of the hook. Adjust the final loop for a tight closure. Chain to secure. Cut a long tail, pull the yarn through the chain. Sew the tail through the stitches a couple of times to make sure the stitches are nice and secure. Knot and sew in the tail.

Strap
Skip 2 stitches. Attach the yarn to the 3rd stitch. Ch 1, pull up and work 12 HDC. There will be 2 stitches on each side left unworked. Work 5 Foundation Half Double Crochet to make the strap. The first FHDC will be worked in the same stitch as the last HDC. NOTE: Attach the yarn to the opposite side for the second slipper so you have a closure on each side.

Button Loop
Chain 5 for the button loop or according to your button size. Join with the opposite end of the Half Double Crochet. Cut the yarn and sew in the tail.
