Abbreviations
DC - Double Crochet
HDC - Half Double Crochet
CH - Chain
SL ST - Slip Stitch

TC - Triple Crochet

Materials
Size I/5.5 mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn
Tapestry Needle


Chain 5, join with the beginning chain.
Round 1: Chain 1, this will not count as a stitch, Work 12 full double crochet through the chain.
Round 2:  Work 1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches, The next stitch will be an increase. Work 1 HDC and 3 DC. In the next stitch work 4 TC, 1 HDC, work a sl st in the next stitch. In the next stitch HDC, 4 TC, next stitch 3 DC, 1 HDC, work 1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches. Work 3 HDC in the last stitch. Join with the beginning stitch.

Abbreviations
DC - Double Crochet
CH - Chain
SL ST - Slip Stitch


Materials
Size I/5.5 mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn
Tapestry Needle

Chenille Wire or Pipe Cleaner

Chain 5, join
Round 1:  CH 1, 3 DC, Chain 8, 3 DC, CH 5, 3 DC, CH 5, 3 DC, CH 8, join with the first stitch. SL ST to the center DC. 

Round 2: Work 8 DC in the chain loop, Work 8 DC in the chain loop.  *SL ST in center DC.  In the next CH 5 loop, work 5 DC, CH 3, SL ST in same stitch, Work 5 DC in same chain, complete twice from *.  SL ST in center DC.  Work 8 DC in the chain loop, Work 8 DC in the chain loop. Sl ST in center DC, cut yarn, pull through. 

Wrap and shape wire around center.  Shape antenna.

If you don't have wire available, you can cut several strands together, tie to center.  Separate strands at top and knot for antenna.  See image above for example.

DC - Double Crochet
HDC - Half Double Crochet
CH - Chain
SL ST - Slip Stitch


Materials
Size I/5.5 mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn
Tapestry Needle


Chain 4, join
Round 1:  CH 1, this is the step up, Work 12 DC through the ring,
join with the beginning stitch.

Round 2:  CH 1, this is the step up, Work 2 DC in each stitch around, join.  (24 Double Crochet)

Ears
Chain 2, 3 triple crochet in the same stitch, 3 triple crochet in the next stitch, chain 2, slip stitch in the same stitch.  Work a sl st in each of the next 4 stitches,  Chain 2, 3 triple crochet in the same stitch, 3 triple crochet in the next stitch, chain 2, slip stitch in the same stitch. 

Size G Crochet Hook
Snout
Chain 3, join, Work 7 Double crochet, join. Cut the yarn, pull through.
Sew to the center of the face.

Chain 2, work 2 SC in the second chain.  Sew to the snout

Size G Crochet Hook
Eyes - Make 2
Chain 3, join, cut the yarn cutting a little extra for sewing, pull through

Explaining Crochet Multiples

This image has an example of a multiple and explains what a multiple is. If you are just starting out with crochet, don't be hard on yourself for not getting it right off the bat. It does take some time. It took me a few years before I fully understood multiple.  We all learn at different paces.  Continue crocheting and one day you will have that ah-ha moment.
