Materials
Size I/5.5mm crochet hook
4 ply worsted weight yarn
Tapestry Needle
Petals - Make 5
Work a chain 4, join.
Row 1: Work a chain 1, this will not count as a stitch. Work 10 HDC through the chain. Turn
Row 2: Work a chain 1, this will not count as a stitch. Work 2 HDC in each stitch around. Work a slip stitch with the first stitch.
We will have a slightly curved up teardrop shape.
Slip stitch all the flower petals together at the base. Sew in all the tails.
Flower Center
Chain 3, join.
Row 1: Work a chain 1, this will not count as a stitch. Work 9 HDC through the chain. Join.
Row 2: Work a chain 1, this will not count as a stitch. Work 1 HDC in each stitch around. Join. It will curl up. Sew in the center tail.
Place the flower center over the center of the flower and sew.
