Skill Level - Easy

Abbreviations

DC - Double Crochet
HDC - Half Double Crochet
CH - Chain
SL ST - Slip Stitch


Materials
Size 1 steel crochet hook
3 crochet cotton
Tapestry Needle


Extended Single Crochet - This is a single crochet worked loosely around previous rounds.  You put your hook below the chain 3 loop on round .



Work a chain 10, join. 
Round 1:  Work a chain 1, this is the step up and will not count as a stitch. *3DC, CH 2, 3DC through the chain 10, Chain 3, work a total of 6 times from *. Slip stitch across DC to the next chain 2 space.

Round 2:  Work a chain 1, this is the step up and will not count as a stitch. *3DC, CH 2, 3DC, work a chain 5, Chain 3, work a total of 6 times from *. Slip stitch across DC to the next chain 2 space.


Round 3:  Work a chain 1, this is the step up and will not count as a stitch. *4DC, CH 4 SL ST, CH 6 SL ST, CH 4 SL ST, 4DC, work a chain 7, work an extended single crochet around the chain 5 and chain 3.

  5. Pretty! I've been looking around for the last couple months for some snowflake patterns, Don't know why I didn't think to check if you had any. You've had videos for everything else I've needed :) I miss the snow we used to get back home, so I want to make lots of snowflakes this year! :)

  7. I am soooo going to try and do this. Thank you so much for posting it. I absolutely love snow and I can't think of anything more delicate to create than a snowflake. Perfect for one of the so many rainy afternoons we have here in Manchester.
