Recent Giveaway Video Removed for Inappropriate Content

This is an update to let you all know that my giveaway video was removed for "inappropriate content". I have submitted an inquiry with YouTube to find out what the "inappropriate content" is in the video or get it put back in place if it was removed in error. Many of you know I have been doing giveaways for 3 years now on YouTube and never had any problems.  My hope is the video will be put back in place.

  4. Somehow my account got deleted for inappropriate content. No idea what that would have been since I only subscribed to accounts and never actually posted anything. Oh well, I just started a new one and had to try to find everyone again. I think people just click inappropriate content and instead of Youtube investigating it they just remove it. Fun stuff huh?

  5. Perhaps they were concerned about the amount of "Happy Hookers" that follow you. lol

  6. Hi Teresa, So sorry this happened to your video. Inappropriate? Probably submitted by some "knitter" who hates crochet.(joke) It seems YouTube's newest format and updates are more trouble than they're worth. I wonder how long it will take to fix. Do you need any of us to complain or notify YouTube? Will that help? Although I don't know all your countless followers, we're all behind you 100 percent. Let us know if there's anything at all we can do. Thanks for all your hard work and wonderful crochet videos.

  7. algteacher:
Thank you. There is not much that can be done at this point. YouTube may have changed the contest rules. I can't find any information right now so I have to wait and hope that someone from the staff replies to me.

  9. Wow, YouTube really has gone off the deep end! I missed your video but I'm sure there was nothing inappropriate about it!!

Might I suggest you try viddler.com? At least you could re-post your video there. The chances of YouTube reinstating anything are slim to none (at least from what I've seen from others who have had videos removed for ridiculous reasons). How utterly weird...

  15. Lol! Unbelievable!! O___O Youtube must be crazy... Inappropiate?? It must be a new definition for the word and for the crocheting...
This makes me angry, because all you do is help us and they remove your video... Also it's not right because there are so many videos in Youtube that are REALLY inappropiate...
Teresa I agree with algteacher, if you need help we can complain to Youtube, we are so many and we all support you.
Thanks for all your amazing and "inappropiate" job.
    My best regards,

  17. Hello Ms.Teresa. I have downloaded almost all of your video tutorials. I love them all! As for "Inappropriate content", Youtube has a lot of videos filled with filth and dirty A to Z Rated content. Don't they censor that? Why are they after censoring crochet...hahaha

  19. @Fun, I have since learned from YouTube, that because I said to "leave as many comments as you would like", they consider that spam. All the same, someone would have had to flag the video, in order for someone from YouTube to watch the video to remove it.

  20. Oh My God, Ms. Teresa!!! You replied to me, Thanks a million. You are like a celebrity to me. Let's hire Nancy drew or Hardy Boys for solving the Mystery of the Flagged video, what say? Or let's just get down to business and sue Youtube!!!
