  2. Great video, I like the black background, it makes it easier. I'd like to see the hat modeled:) Is it a slouch hat?

  3. Sara, Thank you. The rubber thing is a pencil grip. The yarn is by Red Heart. I do not know the exact name but you can find it at Wal-mart.

  4. I love the way you did your video, not in a quick manner but a way someone could sit with their crochet hook and follow right along with you. I just love your blog! I would like to list you as a favorite blog on my blog with a link to yours if it is okay with you. You can drop me an email at n.estrellallc@gmail.com or leave a comment on my blog if you like by my welcome.

  7. Hi Teresa! I love your video blogs. (Found them on youtube) I need your help. I followed the pattern for the Puff Stitch Hat and it seems to be for a childs head. Would you be able to tell me what I need to do to make this hat for me-an adult (which was the original intent, lol)? Thanks so much!

  8. Devon,
The hat in the video is made for a 22-24 inch, 51-56CM head when you use a size I/5.5mm hook and 4-ply yarn. What materials did you use?

  9. Hi Teresa: I used an I/9-5.5mm needle and the person at the yarn store told me the following yard would be sufficient for the hat (I did tell her I needed 4-ply yarn): Koigu Kersti Wool. 50g/114 yds/100m.

  10. Devon,
I am not familiar with the yarn. The yarn I used in the video worked the hat up plenty large so I would suspect that your yarn is smaller. You can try a larger crochet hook or an extra round of increases.

  11. Can you work this hat for a baby? I love making hats, and I'd like it if you had more tiny baby patterns :)
