Plastic Canvas Book Giveaway - Closed

As a former military spouse, we frequently got rid of stuff each time we moved. I am trying hard not to be a pack rat, so I am passing along some various craft books, of crafts that I have tried over the years. These books fall under the category of not being used in well over a year so I am giving them away. There are 6 books from the 1990's time frame. I was living on Fort Knox at the time. Not pictured are several big sheets of standard plastic canvas, more smaller sheets and some round circles of plastic canvas. If this is something that you are interested in, please comment and leave a way to contact you or unique way of identifying yourself if you are the winner. The blog is open for anyone to comment and participate. E-mail entries are accepted with "Plastic Canvas Book Giveaway" in the subject. I will draw on Monday March 30, 2009.

That seems like something I could teach my two year old to do or at least my 5 year old nephew. He loves crafts.

Ah, I remember those days, as military spouse too.
It's the (pre) pack that would stress me out. Especially overseas.

  11. I do some plastic canvas, mostly making antennae flags and giving most of them away to veterans or fellow employees. I love Christmas ornaments that also can be magnet items and ornaments for the tree.
Thanks in advance. Mary in Ky

  20. How odd to see this just a week after I started talking to my 15 year old daughter about teaching her this craft in the future. I recently had leg/foot surgery so we have been doing some crochet/craft projects together to pass the time while I'm not totally mobile. Told her as soon as we can afford to stock up on plastic canvas supplies we'll hit that. She's an unusual 15 year old, she actually Likes doing things with her parents. LOL. We'd love to put the patterns and supplies to good use for you. Thanks. Tate1973@sbcglobal.net
