Crochet Circle to Square - Granny

The idea behind turning a circle in to a square is the same for any size that you want to make. If you want to make it larger, you will make a larger circle to start with and alter the stitches to create a larger square. As you increase the size of your project, you need to remember to add increase stitches to add fullness to the outer edges of your project so it does not pull and pucker from being to tight.

Size I Crochet Hook

Start with Magic Circle

*NOTE: When your square is complete, make sure you pull your magic circle tight and secure it with a couple of knots. Sew your tails in. The magic circle is crocheting over the yarn so if you don't make secure knots, the tail could come out and your stitches will come apart during the a wash cycle.
