CH 2

Round 1: 3 SC in 2nd CH from HK. Do not join. The ball will be work in a continual round withouth joining.

Round 2: 2 SC in each SC around. (6 SC) Add contrasting color yarn to mark beginning stitch.

Round 3: 2 SC in each SC around. (12 SC)

Round 4: 2 SC in each SC around. (24 SC)

Round 5: 2 SC INC in next SC, 1 SC in next SC. (36 SC)

Round 6-14: 1 SC in each SC around (36 SC)

Round 15: SC DEC every other stitch, SC in next ST. (24 SC)

Round 16: SC DEC 12 times. (12 SC)Fill project with polyester fiberfill for shape.

Round 17: SC DEC 6 times. (6 SC)

Round 18: SC DEC 3 times. (3 SC)

Sew end shut and sew in tail.

    I am a beginner, what doesn "chain 2" means??? What is a chain and why are there different numbers? (like chain 301)

    Thank you. Chain 2 means that is all you will need to chain at that part of the pattern. You may be creating an individual stitch. If you are chaining 301, you are probably making an afghan or filet crochet type of project. You will come across many different sizes of chains.

    i want to make a very big ball.... this means i have to do from round 5 forward more increases... its ok to do on round 6 0 2 sc in one st, then 1 sc in next 2... then again an increase, then 2 simple...
    and in the next round an increase every 4 stiches.. and so on?????
