  1. I have always been confused about when to crochet under 2 loops and when to crochet under a single. I sometimes can't see the v very easily with certain patterns or yarn. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  2. I always crochet under both of the loops since I find this technique more secure. There may be times that you will crochet under the back loop or front loop only for decorative purposes. I have found that working under 1 loop may create larger holes in the work.
